As the season finale—and to highlight its significance—*The Crucifixion* will premiere as a feature film in theaters.
The first two episodes will premiere on “acontra+” on November 17, and a new episode will be released every Tuesday thereafter.

“The Chosen” has already attracted more than 300 million viewers, making it one of the greatest biblical productions in history. Furthermore, as an independent production, it is already considered one of the biggest hits of the past decade.
Its lead actors are already well known, with the performance of Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus. The cast has even been received by Pope Francis in 2021 and by Pope Leo XIV in 2025.
