{"id":19703,"date":"2022-03-21T11:48:31","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T10:48:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.omnesmag.com\/?p=19703"},"modified":"2025-11-13T13:23:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T11:23:36","slug":"euthanasia-the-path-to-self-destruction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.omnesmag.com\/en\/foco\/eutanasia-el-camino-a-la-autodestruccion\/","title":{"rendered":"Euthanasia: the road to self-destruction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/carfundacion.org\">Roman Academic Center<\/a>o, CARF, organizes a <strong>virtual reflection meeting on March 24 at 20:30h.<\/strong> in which Benigno Blanco, former president of the Spanish Family Forum, will speak about the social drift that leads to the acceptance of euthanasia as an option, and even a medical \"duty\", to put an end to human life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting, which is open to anyone who wishes to attend, will be broadcast online and registration can be made at <a href=\"https:\/\/carfundacion.org\/encuentros-y-webinars\/autodestruccion-social\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CARF website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year, Spain passed one of the most permissive laws, contrary to human dignity, in favor of euthanasia. A fact that has given rise to new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/recursos\/apuntes-para-reflexionar-y-argumentar-sobre-la-ley-de-eutanasia\/\">issues<\/a> not only in the health field, but also in the social field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What does a law of this type mean for a society? What can we expect from the future after the approval and implementation of this type of law? Are there reasons for pessimism and despair? Are we on the road to social self-destruction?
