We are not alone

Many live today facing struggles and projects without understanding that only with God do we find happiness. The time has come to remind the world that, without God, we can do nothing.

If we look around us we will see that there are many brothers and sisters who today live as if God did not exist. As if Jesus died on the Cross and God died with Him. As if the two of Emmaus would not have returned to Jerusalem running like crazy after feeling their hearts burn.

If we look around us we will see married couples struggling with their own means not to be shipwrecked in the middle of the waves. They don't understand what is happening to them, when we loved each other so much a few years ago!

If we look around us we will observe that many good works are undertaken without counting on the God of those works. Good projects that arise from noble hearts forget the one who thought of that brilliant idea before them.

If we look around us, we will sense that many people walk with their eyes on the ground, without greeting those who pass by, because they have forgotten that we have been called to live looking at the sky.

If we look around us, we will come across sad and bored faces every day that don't know how to smile or don't want to smile. People to whom we feel like shouting: You can be happy!

If we look around us we will find that those who have everything to be the happiest people in the world are not happy, and on the contrary, we will see joy and hope brimming in the faces of those who have been less fortunate.

The time has come to remind the world again of what Our Lord said so clearly one day: "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains united to me and I to him bears much fruit. For without me you can do nothing. Nothing? That's right, nothing.

The time has come to let everyone know that we have a Father who loves us, who is crazy with love and who has counted every last hair on our head. A Father who is happy when His children return to Him, from the most intimate corner of their souls, to recognize that we count on His help for everything and to remember, again and again, that we are not alone.
